Red Ring of Death Update

Just an update on my XBOX 360 red ring of death issue. I called XBOX support on Sunday, December 9 and received the box to ship my 360 to their repair facility on Friday, December 14. I dropped it off at a UPS store on Saturday, December 15 and it looks like it will arrive at the facility today. I'm holding out hope it is repaired and returned before New Year's. Otherwise, no new game playing on the 360 until 2008.

On a side note, UPS must use an interesting route optimization system to get my 360 from Northern California to Texas. The package has gone across the country and back to meet the 3-day delivery:
