No Push Email for the Q?

According to Unstrung, there is a rumor that Motorola (NYSE: MOT) will "ship its hotly anticipated Q smartphone without the latest push email update for the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) mobile operating system onboard."

Jack Gold at J.Gold Associates says it's true. He said, "Motorola is launching the Q next Monday. It will not have the latest version of Windows Mobile 5, so can’t play with Exchange direct push email. They will offer an update later in the year, or so I understand."

Gold was "totally amazed" that "Motorola would ship without the updated software or that it would take them months to update."

Motorola had no comment on the Q nor the rumor.
