Jupiter:The Measure of Success

Joe Wilcox posts at the Jupiter Analyst Weblogs about how the iPod nano is creating a big buzz in mainstream America. He blogs that his wife, who he is describes as no technobabe, mentioned that :

three times this afternoon while running errands she heard people talking about iPod nano. These conversations she listened to. In one conversation, two people discussed the iPod nano replacing the mini. In another, the cool new product itself was the topic.

Wilcox writes that later he went to the local Apple store to check out the nano and while his wife and daughter gawked, he concluded that:

everything else is huge by comparison. I had been thinking that Apple redefined a category. My mistake, Apple has invented a new one.

I was equally impressed with the nano. After dinner my family and I went to the local shopping area and my son asked if we could stop by the Apple Store to check out the nano. It was even smaller than I thought it would be. Tres cool and I was barely able to restrain myself from purchasing one. Apple definitely has a big winner on its hands....
